  I wish there were negative ten stars. The "owner" Chris acted like a real jerk. I suggested something different because I actually know about PC's and worked in IT for 24 years, in much higher positions than computer repair, as a Network Admin, and mostly as a Web Developer. So out of the blue this guy says "If you think you know more than me COME GET IT!" I said "close it up." I enter the store and he says "you know I'm right." So it was all about him "being right." I challenged him to show me the part that was "proprietary" and he just avoids the issue, trying to tell me that an IBM PC compatible machine can only use the exact power supply that came with it. I said "Why do you think they call it IBM COMPATIBLE and there are only about a thousand companies that sell replacement parts?? He claimed to have done diagnostics, I said okay I'd pay, I said I would. Then it's "cash only" no credit cards. I tell him where he can put the computer and leave. I intend to pursue this.
